TORONTO — Toronto’s Bier Markt chain of restaurants is growing with news a fourth location has opened at 199 North Queen Street, across from Sherway Gardens.
“Bier Markt’s unique cocktail of European cuisine, fine ‘bier’ and live entertainment is going to liven up the Queensway neighbourhood,” said Robert Medal, operating partner of Bier Markt.
The 8,000-sq.-ft. space features two patios and the brand’s inaugural exterior Patio Bar that opens to the main indoor bar, a Bier-Aging Cabinet and a private Chef’s Table, seating 12. Meanwhile, a street-view kitchen will offer a peak behind-the-scenes, as will the Markt’s first open Charcuterie Station, which will show how the delicacies are “fashioned” before being served.
The menu offerings will mirror the restaurant’s sister stores, with more than 150 brands of ‘bier’ on offer and European-inspired cuisine such as charcuterie, croques, fondue and roasted suckling pig. Michael Cipollo, executive chef, will also present limited-time Feastivϋl menus.
The new 200-seat restaurant will offer weekend brunch and live music.
