MIAMI — Burger King has launched a new summer barbecue menu, featuring 13 menu items, including a rib sandwich, a barbecue chicken salad and sweet potatoes fries.
“Our Burger King family loves the outdoor grilling season,” said Flavia Faugeres, EVP and global chief marketing officer, Burger King Worldwide, Inc.
“Seeing the success we had with our initial barbecue menu last year, we wanted to expand upon our regionally inspired offerings and provide our guests with Summer barbecue flavours fresh off the grill. Burger King’s unique fire-grilling cooking technique allows us to create these various barbecue items in the traditional way they are meant to be made — over a flame.”
The new items include: a Memphis BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, a Carolina BBQ Whopper Sandwich & BBQ Whopper Jr. Sandwich, a Carolina BBQ Tendercrisp Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Strips, frozen lemonade and frozen strawberry lemonade, a Chunky Cookie made with Oreo pieces, an Oreo shake and an Oreo sundae.
The new summer menu is available May 21 at participating restaurants in the U.S.
