IRVINE, Calif. — The owners of Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza have signed a franchise agreement with Five Star Blaze Holdings, Inc. to develop Blaze restaurants in Canada.

We feel that Cypress Five Star has the proven track record, financial capital and local Canadian market knowledge necessary to execute the Blaze Pizza brand to our high standards.”
Five Star Blaze Holdings, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cypress Five Star, LLC and is the largest franchisee in the Lorton, Va.-based Five Guys Burgers & Fries chain.
Founded in California, The Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza brand serves custom-built artisanal pizzas and salads. Each restaurant features an assembly-line format, and the pizzas are cooked on a open flame in 180 seconds.
The new Canadian deal includes plans to open a minimum of 60 franchise units, targeting Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary for the first restaurants.
