TORONTO — Tim Hortons, Boston Pizza and Jack Astor’s Bar & Grill will be among the slew of chain-based food trucks set to hit the streets of Toronto, reports BlogTo.
Terry Sauve, of Kitchen on Wheels Canada, a company that builds food trucks, told BlogTo about some of his corporate clients, who have ordered modernized food trucks, and in some cases, fleets of six or more.
Suave says the trucks will be outfitted with flat-screen TVs, signage and GPS technology that can send a signal to a customer’s smartphone when the truck is in the area.
