TORONTO — The tiny, sweet fruit that can enhance any tart, pie and pancake is about to have its day in the sun.

Evergreen Brick Works is hosting its first-ever Wild Blueberry Festival in Toronto this Sunday from 11 a.m to 4 p.m. in its Bayview Avenue location.

The event, hosted by the Wild Blueberry Association of North America, will feature celebrity chefs, including Cava’s Chris McDonald and Restaurant Makeover’s Brad Long, who will be on hand creating blueberry-themed treats. And, to give the day a competitive edge, brave attendees can enter their blueberry pies in a contest judged by celebrated chefs.
