MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Boston Pizza has launched two varieties of the Pizzaburger at 345 locations across Canada. Both items are created without the traditional bun, and are baked inside hand-pressed pizza dough.
“Boston Pizza strives to create one-of-a-kind eating experiences for Canadians, and our Pizzaburger is yet another tasty triumph that guests can’st wait to try,” said Michael Gray, director of culinary and executive chef at Boston Pizza. “Whether enjoying a sporting event or celebrating a family birthday, guests will not be disappointed when they sink their teeth into a juicy, cheesy Pizzaburger.”
For a limited time, new menu items include the Pepperoni & Bacon Pizzaburger and the Five-Cheese Pizzaburger. The Pepperoni & Bacon Pizzaburger features a half-pound prime rib burger with pizza sauce, pepperoni, bacon and mozzarella cheese, while the Five-Cheese Pizzaburger features a burger with mozzarella, cheddar, feta, asiago cheese and is topped with parmesan.
The Pizzaburger is available from April 1 to June 2.
