MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Boston Pizza has announced a pilot project at select Greater Toronto Area locations where it will add MyCheck’s MyRestaurant mobile-payment functionality into its MyBP loyalty program app.
The enhanced pay-at-table experience will let diners check-in with the MyBP app, redeem personalized rewards that are synchronized with each restaurant’s point-of-sale system (POS) and review, split and pay their bill using Apple Pay or traditional credit cards. Receipts are automatically emailed to the diner’s account and kept in the user’s history for easy access. This technology is expected to result in enhanced operations, higher server tips and faster table turnarounds.
