TORONTO — Boston Pizza has taken to the city, with the launch of the chain’s first urban concept on Front Street West in Toronto.
The 350-seat, 9,400-square-feet space has two floors, an outdoor patio, a bar on each floor, more than 80 flat-screen TVs and a customized sound and lighting system that will change colours to coincide with the sporting event of the day.
“Boston Pizza Front & John is designed to capture the feeling and excitement of being in downtown Toronto through a celebration of our dynamic local sports scene,” says Mark Pacinda, president and COO of the urban concept, which will eventually invade other cities. “Guests will know they are at a Boston Pizza, but at the same time they’sll feel like they’sre in a downtown, urban restaurant and bar.”
The new site created more than 100 jobs and will play an active role in the community.
