VANCOUVER — Browns Socialhouse is rapidly expanding within Western Canada, with the opening of four restaurants in the last two months; the latest is its 18th Brewery District restaurant, which just opened in New Westminster, B.C.
“Browns Socialhouse is growing at a rapid pace to keep up with market demand,” said Bruce Fox, COO and VP, Development, Browns Restaurant Group. “At the start — and heart — of every Browns Socialhouse is an entrepreneurial franchisee who wants to build a business hands on and fill a unique niche that bridges the gap between neighbourhood pub and an accessible, casual fine-dining experience.”
In addition to the Brewery District restaurant, the newest Browns Socialhouse locations to open were Nanaimo North, Stonebridge in Saskatoon and Village Green in Vernon. The company expects to have 37 restaurants established by the end of 2014, with multiple locations in provinces from B.C. to Manitoba. The company also hopes to open in Ontario within two years.
