Burger King CEO to Step Down, CFO to Assume Role

MIAMI — Bernardo Hees has announced plans to step down as Burger King’s CEO, with the current CFO, Daniel Schwartz, pinned to take over the top job July 1.

Hees has signed on to become CEO at H.J. Heinz Company, but he will continue to work with Burger King as vice-chairman for the Board of Directors.

Joshua Kobza, previously Burger King’s SVP, Global Finance, will succeed Schwartz as CFO.
