Businessweek: Jamba Juice to Use JambaGo Machines to Boost Profile

EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Execs at the California-based Jamba Juice are hoping to boost sales with the brand’s JambaGo self-serve machine, according to Bloomberg’s Businessweek.

According to the report, the company is experiencing lower sales and higher competition from other QSR brands, including McDonald’s and Starbucks, which have also introduced smoothies in the last few years. Meanwhile, Jamba Juice recently signed a deal with Target to bring the machines to Target Café locations in the U.S. [businessweek.com]
