TORONTO — New York-based plant-based restaurant chain by CHLOE. is set to enter Canada with two confirmed locations in Toronto.
The first location is slated to open this fall in Yorkdale Shopping Centre and will be modeled after the brand’s flagship location in New York. The location will feature an exclusive “Toronto by CHLOE.” menu, as well as the brand’s signature items, seasonal market specials, grab-and-go options, fresh-baked sweets and dairy-free ice creams and sorbets.
Popular offerings include a pesto meatball sandwich, featuring Portobello-based Italian meatballs, marinara, sweet peppers, basil pesto, “cashew mozz” and “almond parm” on a potato sub roll; the quinoa taco salad with chopped romaine, quinoa, spicy seitan chorizo, black beans, sweet corn, avocado, tomato, tortilla strips, tofu crèma and agave-lime vinaigrette; The Guac Burger, which features a black bean, quinoa and sweet potato patty, guacamole, corn salsa, lettuce, tomato, onion, tortilla strips and chipotle aioli on a whole-grain bun. Gluten-free and soy-free items are also available.
The brand will also open a location in Toronto’s financial district, which is expected to launch in 2020. by CHLOE. currently boasts locations in New York; Boston; Los Angeles; Providence, R.I.; and London, U.K.
