Café Medina Welcomes New Bar Manager, Unveils Cocktail Program

VANCOUVER — Café Medina has unveiled an exclusive lineup of signature cocktails as well as “Golden Hour” happy hour features from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday.

“We wanted to change the way our guests look at the bar here at Café Medina, so it’s been exciting to introduce cocktails that are unexpected yet instantly approachable, and complement our menu,” says new bar manager Trixie Blümel, who plans to change the lineup of libations regularly to reflect the season.

The Café Medina cocktail menu is true to the Moroccan and Spanish influences. Items include: Majorelle, a lemon myrtle-infused gin with lemongrass, lemon juice, mint, eggwhite, marrakech aromatic ($11); Mimouna No. 1 with sparkling wine, fresh orange juice, house-spiced honey, amaro montenegro and pink peppercorn shell ($10); Fez Hat with smoky mezcal, green chartreuse, fresh green apple, Riesling, lime juice, and peaty scotch-soaked green apple ($12).

Guests can enjoy all of Blümel’s cocktails for $7 during Café Medina’s new Golden Hour.
