TORONTO — The Canadian Association of Foodservice Professionals (CAFP) Toronto Branch has announced details for its 43rd annual Top Management Night Gala & Fundraiser. The event aims to bring together a dynamic group of industry leaders to celebrate, connect and be inspired by the best in the business.
Proceeds from the event — taking place Feb. 9, 2017 — go to student bursaries, as well as personal and professional-development programs. By 2017, CAFP will have presented more than $350,000 in awards and bursaries.
The evening’s festivities will include The President’s Reception, featuring hors d’oeuvres and drinks; a three-course dinner; the presentation of awards and a keynote address by Zane Caplansky of Caplansky’s Delicatessen.
The awards presentation will honour individuals in three categories: Food Executive of the Year, Restaurateur of the Year and Newsmaker of the Year.
