HAMILTON, Ont. — Canada’s first Wendy’s location is set to reopen next week, following a redesign to the brand’s “Ultra Modern” experience.
The new building design is part of the company’s overall brand transformation, which includes a new logo, crew uniforms, menuboards and packaging.
The restaurant now features floor-to-ceiling windows, a multitude of indoor and outdoor seating options and a memorabilia wall reminiscing on the location’s 40-year history. The redesigned interior also offers amenities such as flat panel TVs, free consumer Wi-Fi and a fireplace.
The historic Wendy’s restaurant, located at 869 Upper James St. in Hamilton, will reopen July 8.
