CALGARY — The Canadian Barista and Coffee Academy (CBCA) has opened a new campus in Calgary. The first courses will be held May 17 to 20.

Students will learn the fundamentals of how to open a successful coffee business and barista-training techniques in a training lab and classroom setting. Classes include a four-day intensive course for existing businesses and new startups, hands-on classes for baristas and specially designed seminars for private in-café trainings.

Established in 2001, CBCA was the first coffee school in Canada devoted to coffee-business education and hands-on barista training and boasts two established campuses in Toronto and Vancouver. Roasting classes are also available at CBCA’s Vancouver campus and will soon be offered at the Toronto and Calgary campuses.
