STAMFORD, Conn. — Two Canadian chefs are representing their homeland this week at the NFL Experience in Dallas, an NFL Theme Park Event currently underway at the Dallas Convention Center.

Neil Harkins, executive chef at the Whistler Conference Centre, and Joe Soroka, top toque at the Direct Energy Centre and Ricoh Coliseum, are attending the event on behalf of Centerplate — the largest hospitality partner to North America’s major sports stadiums, convention centres and entertainment venues.

“We are eager to represent Canada’s culinary community to visitors of the NFL Experience,” said Soroka. “We have developed menus that truly reflect the energy and excitement of Super Bowl week.”

During the event, the chefs are concocting such sports-themed dishes as the NFLX Superdog, End Zone Wings and Smoked Texas Barbecue sandwiches.

NFL experience, which is expected to attract more than 200,000 guests, runs until Feb. 6.
