BOSTON — Canadian seafood and related technology will be prominently displayed at the annual International Boston Seafood Show, the chief trade event for the Canadian fish and seafood industry, which runs from March 11 to 13 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.

“New Brunswick is home to an innovative and diversified fish and seafood sector, our strong presence at this important tradeshow helps New Brunswick businesses develop new markets, opportunities and partnerships,” said New Brunswick Premier, David Alward.

The ‘Atlantic Canada Pavilion,’ now in its seventh year, helps Atlantic Canadian businesses prosper in international markets, while promoting sustainable practices and food-safety procedures. The three-day event highlights new technologies and trends in seafood production from processing and packaging to transportation and quality control.

The annual show attracts more than 16,000 professionals from 90 countries. The value in fish and seafood exported by New Brunswick alone, to the American market, is estimated at $700 million each year.
