MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — The team at Casey’s Grill Bar asked customers for online feedback with regard to its next seasonal offerings, and, after sifting through 13,000 votes, the Casey’s Fall Food Fight menu is set to launch Oct. 17.
Grant Cobb, senior vice-president, Brand Management for parent company, Prime Restaurants Inc., was delighted by the customer response.
“When we announced we were putting Canadians in the driver’s seat and letting them build Casey’s fall menu, buzz spread from coast to coast, and participation in the battle far exceeded our expectations,” he said of the menu, which was compiled after Canadians voted on their favourite five from a list of 10 dishes.
Executive chef Niels Kjeldsen’s new fall menu, which is available until Nov. 27, will feature shrimp tacos, roasted fall vegetable salad, pulled-pork grilled cheese, lobster mac ‘n’ cheese and pork tenderloin medallions.
