TORONTO — In anticipation of the Best Sommelier of Canada Competition, the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (CAPS) and VQA Wines of Ontario are presenting Bring it Home Week from Oct. 12 to Oct. 16, 2021 to support competitors and raise awareness for Ontario’s hospitality industry.
Each day of Bring it Home Week highlights a new video featuring CAPS sommeliers and wine professionals with an Ontario VQA wine. Then, on Oct. 19, 2021, VQA and CAPS will present the competition’s live stream, showcasing the top-three performers from Penticton, B.C.
“Canada’s sommelier community is vitally important for the entire local Ontario wine industry as they’re our storytellers,” says Magdalena Kaiser, director of Public Relations, Wine Marketing Association of Ontario. “VQA Wines of Ontario is proud to be supporting their profession through this national competition.”
