CALGARY — Carl’s Jr. Canada unveiled the newest addition to its menu last week, the Hand-Breaded Bacon Swiss Crispy Chicken Filet Sandwich, with a twist.

From November 29 to December 7, the brand will allow customers to ‘pay what you think it’s worth’ in a Black Friday-style sale to test the perceived quality of the new sandwich. Customers at Carl’s Jr.’s locations across Western Canada (B.C., Alberta and Saskatchewan) can choose to pay $3, $5, $7 or $9 for the chicken sandwich.

“We’re so proud of the quality of our new premium chicken-fillet sandwich, we’re putting our money where our mouth is and inviting Western Canadians to tell us what they think our sandwiches are worth,” explains Adrianne Largo, senior country director for Carl’s Jr. Canada. “We believe our quality and taste is unmatched in the category and we’re excited to see what customers will pay for a better-quality fast-food chicken sandwich by naming their price.”

After the promotion, the new chicken sandwich will sell for $7.49 throughout Carl’s Jr.’s 23 Western-Canadian locations.
