Casey’s Calls on Canadians to Fight Hunger

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Casey’s Grill Bar is calling on customers to help feed the hungry during the company’s Feed The Soul campaign and donating one per cent from food sales to food banks across Ontario and Quebec, until Oct. 9

This year’s campaign offers the chance for web donations via Facebook, with Casey’s giving a dollar to the cause for every new “like” (up to a total of $5,000).

“We have raised more than $150,000 through our Feed the Soul campaign, and this year we hope to surpass our previous targets,” said Grant Cobb, senior VP of Brand Management for Prime Restaurants Inc., Casey’s parent company.

Casey’s is a casual-dining franchised restaurant concept, with 34 locations in Ontario and Quebec.
