VANCOUVER — CinCin Ristorante + Bar has welcomed Catherine Stewart to its culinary team as its new chef de cuisine.
A graduate of Vancouver’s Pacific Institute of the Culinary Arts, Stewart’s appointment marks her return to the west coast following a decade abroad. Stewart began her professional career at West Vancouver’s La Regalade before moving to Vienne, France, to work at the Michelin-starred La Pyramide. She went on to hold positions at La Cuisine de Joel Robuchon and Chateau La Lagune in the Ludon Medoc.
“There are very few occasions when one meets an individual for the very first time and knows that they’re the perfect fit for the role,” says Andrew Richardson, CinCin’s executive chef. “Catherine is that person and we’re so pleased to have her join CinCin as our chef de cuisine.
