HALIFAX — The Atlantica Hotel Halifax was the backdrop for last night’s black-tie dinner and induction of 20 chefs into the Canadian Culinary Federation (CCFCC) Honour Society.
Held conjunction with the CCFCC Convention, the induction dinner was hosted by Bruno Marti, Honour Society chair, who founded the group in 2010.
Inductee selection is based on merit and contribution to the ongoing activities and success of the CCFCC and its local chapters. Several of this year’s honourees have been active members for more than 40 years
The new inductees, by region are: Graham Tricket, Richard Braunauer and Christophe Luzeux (Atlantic Region); Michael Durrer (Eastern Region); Eddie Consenheim, Shawn Whalen, Christopher J. Bodanis, Vincenzo Del Duca, John Kukucka and Neils Kjeldsen (Central Region); Larry DeVries, Hans-Jurgen Schweitzer, Marvin Karenko, John Bond, Vincent Parkinson, Bernard Casavant, Timothy Appleton, Michael Pinter, John Cloutier and John Carlo Felicella (Western Region).
Seventy members are now party of the society.
