TORONTO — Chef Antonio Park of AP Restaurants has announced his third-consecutive collaboration in The Stars Align dinner series. For the third installment, Park will be joined by chef Luiz Filipe Souza from the acclaimed São Paulo-based restaurant, Evvai, which boasts two Michelin stars. Taking place on July 10, this exclusive one-night-only event, presented in collaboration with Glenfiddich, promises to be yet another unforgettable epicurean exploration.
Evvai will present its avant-garde Italian-inspired plates with a Brazilian twist, and seamlessly marry it with Park’s signature Japanese and Pan-Asian dishes. Guests will be seated at a special dinner showcase, with cocktails presented by Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single-malt Scotch whisky. Established in 2017, Evvai has swiftly risen to culinary prominence, awarded its first Michelin star in 2019, and its second in 2024.
“We’re thrilled for our third collaboration in The Stars Align series,” says Hanif Harji, CEO and founder of Scale Hospitality. “Celebrating culinary excellence is the heart of what we do, and we look forward to welcoming chef Luiz to Toronto.”
The Stars Align has garnered attention for its inventive partnerships between Park and visiting chefs from various corners of the world. “I’m thrilled to partner with chef Luiz and his team,” says Park. “Marrying our different cuisines and flavour profiles is sure to excite everyone’s palette and imagination — we’re ready to introduce this collaborative concept to the city.”
The series began with Michelin-starred Mont Bar from Barcelona, and most recently, the ground-breaking talents of Kasama Chicago, the world’s first Michelin-starred Filipino restaurant. Each collaboration continues to highlight the originality of the participating chefs and their establishments while providing unforgettable dining experiences for attendees.
Tickets are $195 and will be available online via the AP Restaurants website.
