MONTREAL — One of the world’s most internationally renowned chefs is planning to open a restaurant in Montreal. Joël Robuchon will be debuting his namesake restaurant, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, at the Casino de Montréal in spring 2016.
“Montreal’s culinary reputation is receiving growing attention internationally, and the arrival of this highly rated chef will fuel the fire, so to speak, adding to our fair city’s positioning as a choice destination for gourmets,” said Yves Lalumière, president, GM of Tourisme Montréal. Over the past few years, Tourism Montreal has developed a range of proactive initiatives to rally gourmets and restaurant services around efforts to promote this tourism sector.
Robuchon has restaurants in Paris, Las Vegas, London, Hong Kong, Taipei and Singapore.
