TORONTO — Chef Jonathan Gushue has been found after being reported missing Monday.
According to the Waterloo Regional Police, the chef was found outside of the province, and is alive and well. The police have added that they “no longer have a concern for his well-being.”
Under advisement from the chef and his family, details about where Gushue was found and where he was will not be released. “His reasons for being away are his, and we are not going to speculate what they might be,” Olaf Heinzel, spokesperson for the Waterloo Regional Police Service told F&H.
The Globe and Mail previously reported that the well-decorated Canadian chef hadn’t been seen since checking out of the Toronto Park Hyatt hotel Dec.31.
Gushue is currently executive chef at Langdon Hall, a luxury hotel in Cambridge, Ont.
