Chef Tamera Clark to Open BjornBar Bakery in North Vancouver


NORTH VANCOUVER — After selling her interest in her successful Montreal bakery, Rustique Pie Kitchen, chef Tamera Clark has returned to North Vancouver to open a bakery in Edgemont Village.

The bakery and bistro, BjornBar Bakery, which boasts a modern-yet-cozy feel, as well as a rooftop patio with stunning views of the North Shore Mountains, will specialize in classic dessert bars.

Along with more than 30 flavours of desert bars ($2.25 to $3.25 each), BjornBar will feature lunch offerings such as soups ($5.25) and salads, quiche ($6), sausage rolls ($4.50), savoury tarts ($5.50) and homemade flatbread pizzas ($5.50). Clark is in the process of licensing the venue and hopes to obtain a liquor licence in the coming months.

BjornBar is set to open on April 7.
