Chris Brothers, Bonté Foods Enter Co-Packing Deal

DIEPPE, N.B. — Bonté Foods has entered in a co-packing agreement with Atlantic Meats to launch a new line of salted meat products and recipes into the Canadian market under the Chris Brothers name.

“Since we’re currently only a provincially inspected facility, the new partnership with Bonté Foods will allow us greater distribution to all retailers across Atlantic Canada and Canada,” says Sandy Dolan, owner of Atlantic Meats. “It will also allow us to seek export opportunities, as an example, salted meats have a strong popularity in many Caribbean markets, products like boneless beef, riblets and short ribs are big sellers.”

The packaging for the new line will carry both Atlantic Meats and Chris Brothers logos, but all the recipes are Atlantic Meats originals.
