TORONTO — A food truck owned by the Black River Food Company was destroyed overnight in an alleged propane tank explosion on the CNE grounds, reports the Toronto Sun.
Police are investigating the cause of the blast, but think it may have been due to a small propane tank left open.
“They will be conducting a damage assessment to determine the exact cause,” Toronto Police Staff-Sgt. Steve French was quoted as saying by the paper. “At this point, propane may or may not be involved.”
No injuries were reported. The damages are estimated to be approximately $30,000.
