BLACKS HARBOUR, N.B. – According to a recent article in the Toronto Star, the New Brunswick-based farmed fish operation Cooke Aquaculture is working to bring the once endangered Atlantic cod back to a restaurant menu near you. According to the report, while a steady supply gleaned from ocean-based cages off the coast of New Brunswick and Newfoundland are still several years away, the company is confident it can help recapture the once staple fish’s place on the culinary map.
