OAKVILLE — Cold Stone Creamery is celebrating National Ice Cream Day on July 15th by rolling out 10 new creations inspired by the Canadian landscape.

Each one of the 10 Provincial Signature Creations combines the most popular mix-ins in each respective province.

For example, the Newfoundland “Cod”ton Candy Dandy is loaded with sprinkles and gummy bears, and topped with a dollop of whipped topping in a bright blue cotton candy ice-cream base; the New Brunswick “Ploye Perfection” contains pieces of yellow cake mixed into cake batter ice cream and decked out with whipped topping and strawberries; and the Alberta Black Gold features Tim Hortons double-double coffee ice cream mixed with dark gooey fudge,  and a layer of graham cracker pie crust and almonds.

“Canadians love ice cream and what better way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day than to enjoy a Signature Cold Stone Creamery Creation made with real Canadian dairy,” said Nick Javor, senior vice- president, Cold Stone Creamery Canada.  “By incorporating every day treats such as fruit, brownies, Oreo cookies and nuts with our premium ice cream, our Provincial Signature Creations are sure to please every ice cream lover — regardless of which province you reside in.”
