Collingwood Whisky Introduces Town Collection, Double Barreled Whisky


TORONTO — Collingwood Whisky announced the release of the first installment in its The Town Collection — Collingwood Double Barreled Canadian Whisky.

The Collingwood Double Barreled Whisky features new tasting notes from its double-barreled and extended maturation process. The spirit is first rested in once-used American white-oak barrels, then re-barreled in new, heavily toasted and lightly charred white-oak barrels where it is matured. This gives the whisky notes of dry cinnamon spice, toasted oak and lightly dried orchard fruits allowing a smooth, warm finish with a flavour profile that maintains both a smooth and complex presence.
