EDMONTON — Amore Pasta — a new Edmonton restaurant from the owners of Café Amore and Black Pearl Restaurant — will celebrate its opening week with a special fundraising event. From Nov. 16 to 20, customers who donate to Alberta’s Madden DeLuca Foundation at Amore Pasta will receive a free Create-Your-Own pasta dish. All proceeds from the promotion will be donated directly to the foundation.
The Madden DeLuca Foundation was founded by Carly and Rocky DeLuca after their 12-week-old son Madden passed away from heart failure. The Italian-themed diner has partnered with the foundation to help raise $90,000 to-date for pediatric-cardiac research at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton.
