CALGARY — The newest location of Toronto-based Mill Street Brewery’s Mill Street Brewpub chain is set to open this week, reports Canadian Beer News, marking the brand’s official entrance into the Western-Canadian market.
Announced last November, the Calgary outpost — located in the historic Costigan House — is being operated in partnership with Calgary’s Creative Restaurants Group (CRG).
The location will feature a selection of Calgary-exclusive beers, created by head brewer Bennie Dingemanse and Mill Street’s brewmaster Joel Manning, along will a selection of brand favourites. The kitchen will serve up a menu of beer-friendly, Western-Canadian fare created by chef Sheldon Guindon and CRG’s executive chef Glen Manzer.
Mill Street Brewpub Calgary location will open to the public Oct. 21, 2016.
