MONTREAL — Copper Branch has partnered with Think Retail to open some 20 locations in Canada next year, according to Retail Insider.
The Montreal-based quick-service restaurant, which launched in 2014, is looking to expand in the Greater Montreal and Toronto areas, as well as Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. The vegetarian concept is seeking to target a wider audience — those wanting clean, healthy meal options.
Copper Branch currently operates 12 locations in Quebec and Ontario. The chain recently opened its first Toronto location at Commerce Court in the city’s financial district. Another location recently opened at Carre Lucerne in Mont-Royal, Quebec and additional locations have been confirmed for Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal’s Westmount Village, Laurier Quebec in Quebec City and downtown Waterloo, Ont.
