TORONTO — The Cora Franchise Group, Inc., has opened a new restaurant in North York, with the company’s 125th site at 861 York Mills Road in North York, Ont.

At the recent official grand opening, the Cora team, along with president Nicholas Tsouflidis, and executive vice-president David Polny, were on hand with local owner-franchisee Bani Azan to welcome local dignitaries, special guests and the North York community for a celebration that featured the symbolic cracking of eggs for the first official omelette of the new location.

The North York restaurant is part of a nationwide expansion of the Cora network, making it the 26th location in the GTA and 43rd location in Ontario. Cora is now the largest sit-down breakfast operation in Canada, with several openings scheduled in the months to come.

Last weekend the location hosted a special friends and family day whereby all proceeds raised were donated to YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.

Cora Breakfast and Lunch is open Monday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
