TORONTO — The Corned Beef House has closed its doors after more than 30 years in Toronto’s entertainment district, according to BlogTO.

The deli, known for its smoked-meat sandwiches and Montreal influence, will maintain its locations in Woodbridge and Aurora, Ont.

The Toronto location will be taken over by a new restaurant and lounge called Melrose on Adelaide. The GM of the restaurant says it will make its debut in September. It will feature oysters, ceviche, charcuterie and more alongside wine and a short beer list.
