MUSKOKA, Ont. — Ontario’s cottage country has produced Mad Tom, an India Pale Ale that’s been a huge hit among beer aficionados this summer, the Toronto Star reports.
The Star describes the Lakes of Muskoka Cottage Brewery’s concoction as a “golden, slightly-hazy beer [that] has an aroma filled with citrus (grapefruit and a touch of lemon come to mind) and pine resin.
The flavour is also heavy on the citrus, and there’s a pleasantly bitter finish.”
The brew is available at the LCBO and Beer Store.
