GUELPH, Ont. — Crafty Ramen, creator of a first-of-its-kind fresh ramen subscription service, is announcing a new vegan kit option along with expanded Ontario delivery to 10 new cities, including Kingston, Windsor, Lindsay, Chatham and Peterborough.

The new Vegan Mapo Tofu kit includes spicy braised tofu, vegan broth, spicy tare, noodles, bok choy, sesame seeds and shredded red chili pepper. Each kit includes simple instructions and is ready to eat in 15 minutes.

“The Mapo Tofu is one of the most requested bowls in our noodle shops. It was really important for us to add this dish to our DIY lineup so people could experience it at home,” says Jared Ferrall, co-founder and executive chef at Crafty Ramen. “As soon as you try it, you’ll see why; it’s a totally unique, complex, ‘in your face blend of flavours.’”

“The Crafty meal experience isn’t one you often find in many small towns in Ontario. We got a lot of customer feedback to expand our delivery reach,” says Khalil Khamis, CEO and partner at Crafty Ramen. “We’re not only growing the Crafty Ramen community, we’re also making restaurant-quality ramen more accessible.”
