GUELPH, Ont. — Crafty Ramen, which operates restaurant locations in Guelph and Kitchener, Ont., has launched a new e-commerce platform — Crafty Ramen Market — offering do-it-yourself (DIY) ramen kits and distinctive pantry items across 40 cities Ontario.

The kits, which can be prepared in less than 20 minutes, include simple instructions and pre-portioned, individually packaged ingredients prepared in-house. Developed by Crafty Ramen co-founder and executive chef Jared Ferrall, a variety of meat and vegan bowls are available through the platform, which offers both single ramen kits and a Fresh Ramen Subscription for frequent ramen delivery.

“The Crafty Ramen Market is our way of navigating this new world and sharing that experience again; we are hoping to bring our feeling of home into the homes of our customers,” explains Miki Ferrall, co-founder and vice-president of Operations, Crafty Ramen.

Crafty Ramen Market offers free shipping for subscription orders and orders over $50. Customers are notified 24 hours prior to delivery and receive a contactless drop-off notification once their order has arrived. Kits are delivered in temperature-controlled boxes and should be cooked within a three-day period or can be frozen for up to six months.

The Fresh Ramen Subscription allows customers to build their bundle or choose from curated family boxes (starting at $32). Other offerings include individual ramen kits ($16), kids kits ($9), DIY gyoza kits ($20) and pantry items such as house-made ramen noodles, chili oil, broth, kimchi and pickled mushrooms.

“We’re changing the way that people think about ramen — it can be both fresh and convenient,” adds Khalil Khamis, partner and CEO, Crafty Ramen. “Through our e-commerce platform and partnerships with a growing list of local retailers, we plan to bring the high-quality Crafty experience to households all across Canada.”
