TORONTO — Craig’s Cookies has launched its franchise-expansion program for its retail concept across Canada. Crag’s Cookies offers customers chocolate-chip cookies with a wide range of toppings and flavours through its retail locations and also ships Canada-wide. The company is inextricably aligned with the 2SLGBTQ+ and arts communities and prides itself as an equal-opportunities employer, and now franchisor.

Founder Craig Pike, who is originally from Newfoundland and where he recently opened a new store, began his chocolate-chip-cookie business in 2013. In 2018, he launched the retail side of the business. The company is seeking franchisees that share their complete passion for customer-service excellence, are self-motivated, are ethical and truly believe in diversity and inclusion, are goal-focused, financially capable, have a genuine enjoyment of food and above all a passion for delivering amazing hospitality.

“Following a lot of hard work and the tremendous success of our corporate locations, expanding our business model across Canada through franchising is a natural step for us and we have already generated amazing interest from across the country,” says Pike. “We are excited about our franchise opportunity and are committed to providing every level of support to our franchise partners. Our primary goals are to deliver an amazing customer experience and to be the most respected cookie brand in Canada.”

“The committed team at Craig’s Cookies has many years of hospitality experience, are passionate about their business and this will flow through to their franchisees, whom they envision to be more as family instead of just franchise partners,” says franchise-development experts InnoFran. “They are approaching the market through a flexible franchise offering, including single- and multi-units in Ontario, as well as area development and master-franchise opportunities in other provinces.”
