TORONTO — Next year’s CRFA Show will introduce the Discovered Culinary Competition.

Starting Nov. 21, preliminary competitions will take place Monday nights in November, January and February, where Canadian chefs will compete to create the best appetizer, entrée and dessert.

The winner of each preliminary competition will participate onstage at the CRFA Show. Sixteen chefs, including two flown in from the BC Foodservice Expo, will compete for the title.

The winner of the Discovered Culinary Competition will receive a two-week chef stint at a Michelin-star restaurant in Spain.

The CRFA Show runs from March 4 to 6 at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place in Toronto.
