TORONTO — The C.W. Shasky team showed off their new home base in Oakville, Ont. last night during an open house for media and members of the foodservice community.
The foodservice broker, which represents brands such as Tabasco, Rosina Foods and Mission Foods, welcomed attendees to the new 4,000-sq.-ft. facility, which was renovated in the past year to offer a “see, smell and taste” approach to its offerings.
As bartenders whipped up cocktails in the new mixology centre, the C.W. Shasky team, which included Sue Martin, marketing manager and Kelly Di Venanzo, key account manager, led visitors around the new facilities. Guests sampled finger foods and frozen treats from the new commercial kitchen, complete with two Rational SelfCookingCenter whitefficiency units and a frozen-yogurt machine. The space, which is helmed by corporate chef Ryan Marquis, can be rented out for menu development and training sessions.
Other meeting spaces in the facility include a 50-seat boardroom with a built-in projector and Smart TV as well as a bistro-style dining room with seating for 40 people.
C.W. Shasky is located at 2880 Portland Dr. in Oakville, Ont.
