MINNEAPOLIS — The team at Dairy Queen Corporation have announced a new egg-sourcing policy that will require its suppliers in the U.S. and Canada for shell eggs, liquid eggs and other proprietary products to purchase eggs only from approved cage-free egg suppliers.

“Having a sustainable supply chain is important to our fans and our company,” says Troy Bader, COO for U.S. and Canada, American Dairy Queen Corporation. “This is an important step for us. Thanks to our franchisees, supply-chain partners and dedicated employees, we are able to take this important step.”

The goal for completing the sourcing policy is the end of 2025, but effective 2017, only companies with cage-free offerings will be considered as a potential new supplier.
