TORONTO — Dairy Queen Canada is getting ready for its 13th annual Miracle Treat Day on Aug. 13.

DQ will be donating proceeds from every Blizzard Treat sold at its locations across Canada to Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.

“This year we’re thrilled to continue our annual Miracle Treat Day tradition alongside our year-long 75th anniversary celebrations,” said Jessica Warren, senior marketing manager, Dairy Queen Canada. “We’ve had a spectacular year and together with our franchisees, crew and fans, we’re looking forward to making this the best Miracle Treat Day yet.”

Proceeds from the event help fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care in Canada’s 14 Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.

“The long-time support from DQ and its fans has been incredible,” said John Hartman, COO, Children’s Miracle Network Canada. “Thousands of children are treated daily at our member hospitals and the DQ community helps make miracles happen for them every day.”
