NEW YORK — Hollywood’s Robert De Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper — all partners at Nobu Hospitality — are opening the first Nobu Hotel in the fall at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The hotel will offer the Japanese feel that permeates through the chain of world-renowned Nobu restaurants.

“We have created a distinctly Japanese experience in the heart of Las Vegas with the first Nobu Hotel but with a playful interpretation of Nobu’s style and the Vegas bravado,” said David Rockwell, founder and CEO of Rockwell Group and project designer of the space.

Guest bookings will begin Oct. 1 for the 180-room modern hotel, which will feature in-room iPad registration, a traditional hot-tea welcome and a turndown service with his and her robes, slippers and scented sleep oils. Guests will have 24-hour access to Nobu’s food through in-room dining.

And, of course, an 11,200-sq.-ft. Nobu restaurant will open at the hotel. According to The Hollywood Reporter, it will include private dining and a 327-seat lounge and bar.
