TORONTO — Liberty Entertainment Group is taking dinner and a show to a whole new level with the launch of a series of intimate candlelit concerts in Casa Loma. Candlelight Symphony at the Castle features the Casa Loma Symphony Orchestra performing live, under the artistic direction and baton of Maestro Paolo Busato. The entertainment program kicks off March 10 and runs Thursday through Sunday evenings until April 3, 2022.

Cocktails will be served at the Carriage Room bar, both pre-show and at intermission. There are also limited, pre-show VIP dinner packages for either of the castle’s dining establishments, Don Alfonso 1890 or BlueBlood Steakhouse, available to concert goers.

The candlelight performance is a one-of-a-kind, intimate 150-seat event featuring two programs. On Thursday and Sunday evenings, the symphony will present A Night at the Movies, with classic scores from some of Hollywood’s most memorable films, including Star Wars, The Godfather and The Mission, to name a few. Friday and Saturday evenings, guests will enjoy From Broadway to Opera, featuring music from beloved classics ranging from Tosca, Turandot and Madame Butterfly to Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, and other Broadway favourites.

“We are thrilled to welcome live performances back to the castle and are sure that guests will once again enjoy a one-of-a kind, intimate night out for both fine dining and live entertainment,” says Nick Di Donato, president and CEO, Liberty Group. “We have built a strong and loyal following for our entertainment programs and couldn’t be more excited for the rebirth of live music at Casa Loma.”

Tickets are now on sale at casaloma.ca. Candlelight Symphony tickets are $65 per person; VIP packages with a pre-show, prix-fixe dinner at either BlueBlood Steakhouse or Don Alfonso are available for $250 per person.
