Dog and Tiger Offers Year-Round Dining in New Heated Patio

TORONTO — The Dog and Tiger, a pub focusing on farm-to-table dishes and cocktails, has opened a new heated patio on College St. in Toronto. Designed by Maed Collective, the heated year-round patio seats 70 people and features rustic decor and a fireplace.

The farm-to-table menu, helmed by executive chef Tom Salvo, features dishes such as burgers, steak tartare and ice-shrimp empanadas. Additionally, a brunch menu and bar offering mimosas, Caesars and organic cold-pressed juices are available on weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Standout menu items include Sway’s Cakes, consisting of two buttermilk pancakes, honey crème fraîche, fresh fruit, and maple syrup, and The D&T Benny, served with a crispy potato waffle, peameal bacon or smoked trout, poached egg and hollandaise. Cocktail offerings include the Lemon Meringue Martini, Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini and S’mores Old Fashioned.
