LEAMINGTON, Ont. — Domino’s Pizza is serving up home-style comfort with the introduction of pan pizza made with handmade dough.
“When you think pizza, pan pizza is a consumer favorite that has increasingly grown to be top of mind,” says Michael Curran, president of Domino’s Canada. “It’s only natural that we enter this category in our market.”
The pan pizzas are made with handmade dough and are available in medium with two toppings for $9.99.
In the company’s U.S. campaign, CEO Patrick Doyle takes a jab at the chain’s pan-pizza competitors. “Want to know a dirty little secret about the pizza business?” he begins. “A lot of pan pizza starts out as frozen dough.” To see the video, click here.
